Iris is a fan project of Apple's role model Siri.
Iris is a learning language system that gets better at communicating with you the more you use it. The more often you say an instruction or a sentence, the more the semantic search can adjust to you and adapt your way of speaking.
Since the project has just started, please don't be discouraged if it is currently in the learning phase. We are still happy about your inquiries and will add new ideas and syntax within a day if possible.
Iris offers students an open interface that allows them to write their own voice controls for Iris. This means you can easily implement your own commands into the system.

Thank you for your help in the first few hours after the release. We had our hands full with terms that the system didn't yet know. Of course, this is a lot at the beginning because the system is just starting to learn. Nevertheless, we supported the system all day with your sometimes bizarre requests. For example, we were allowed to explain that “clear” not only has something to do with “purity,” but can also be a word of confirmation. :-)
